
David Walter Ford, age 69, of Loganville, passed away Monday, Sept. 30. Â
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, in the Loganville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Minister Harold Savage and the Rev. Charles Hutchins will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m., at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery  in Milledgeville. Â
Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Holston UM Home for Children with 29 years of service, Ford was a graduate of Georgia Tech, a U. S. army veteran, serving in Vietnam, and a member of the Elks Club, Moose Lodge, VFW and Kiwanis in Greenville, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R. D. & Agnes Pye Ford. Mr. Ford  is survived by his Wife: Diane H. Ford, Loganville; Daughter & Son-in-law: Dana & Glen Greer; Grandchildren: Madison Greer, Nickolas Greer, all of Johnson City, TN; Brother: Phillip Ford, Bethlehem; Step-Daughter& Step-Son-in-law: Dana & Greg Gilleland, Step-Grandchildren: Kevin, Emily & Aaron Gilleland, all of Snellville; Step-Son: David Greene, Step-Granddaughter: Cassie Greene, all of Ormond Beach, FL.
