Mass Shooting At GA Bar Kills 3, Injures 6
A fatal mass shooting at a bar was reportedly the second deadly shooting in less than 24 hours for this Georgia town.
MACON, GA — Three people died, and six people were injured, after a shooting early Sunday at a Georgia bar, according to authorities and a media report.
The fatal shooting happened around midnight at Midtown Daiquiri Bar and Grill in the 4300 block of Log Cabin Drive in Macon, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said.
While authorities reported three people were taken to the hospital for treatment, Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones told 13WMAZ that six people total were injured in the shooting.

Authorities said three people were pronounced dead at the scene. They identified the trio as Jedarrius Meadows Jr., 28, Javonta Faulks, 32, and Javarsia Meadows, 24.
Details leading to the shooting were not revealed early Monday, but 13WMAZ reported around 60 shell casings were found at the scene. It was not immediately clear if a suspect was in custody.

"I haven't had (a shooting) this large in quite a while," Bibb County Sheriff David Davis told 13WMAZ. "Very troubling, very concerning that people can't seem to control their anger long enough to settle a dispute without resorting to gunfire."
Jones told the news outlet that two of the six people injured were in critical condition while others were stable.
He told the Associated Press the Midtown shooting was the second for Macon in less than 24 hours. Jaurice Markel Haywood, 25, reportedly died in a graduation party shooting that injured two other people.
“It’s frustrating, and it's depressing to see the killing,” Jones told the Associated Press. “We were doing so good, but this week alone, we’ve had five homicides.”
The last mass shooting in Georgia happened on Mother's Day, when four teenagers were injured by a rifle in Valdosta, according to the Gun Violence Archive. JaMaurion Fountain, 21, was arrested in connection with the shooting, according to the archive.
