$73K Reward Offered After 4 Inmates Escape GA Jail
The sheriff's office is requesting the public's help in locating four inmates, including a murder suspect, who escaped in Bibb County.

MACON, GA — A reward for information leading to four inmates who escaped Monday from the Bibb County Detention Center has increased to $73,000, the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said.
Authorities said the inmates escaped through a damaged day room window and a cut fence. They got into a blue Dodge Challenger that arrived at a location and helped them flee the center, authorities said.
Of the four inmates who escaped, one of them was charged on suspicion of murder, authorities said. The inmates were identified as Joey Fournier, Marc Kerry Anderson, Johnifer Dernard Barnwell and Chavis Demaryo Stokes.

"The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is offering $5,000 for the capture of each inmate, the U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $5,000 reward for each inmate and Macon Regional Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for the capture of each inmate," authorities said.
The FBI is offering $10,000 for Barnwell's capture.

"He was convicted earlier this month on federal drug trafficking charges and faces a significant time in prison when sentenced," authorities said.
The FBI is also offering up to $5,000 for capture of Fournier, Stokes and Anderson, authorities said.
“Everyone from the Bibb Sheriff’s Office and our law enforcement partners is focused on recapturing these fugitives. We ask that anyone having information about these wanted individuals to make the call and help us bring these escapees back to jail," Bibb County Sheriff David Davis said in a statement.
Authorities previously identified the inmates as the following:
- Fournier, 52: a white man with gray hair and blue eyes who is 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. He was being held on suspicion of murder.
- Anderson, 24: a Black man with dreads who is 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He was being held on suspicion of aggravated assault.
- Barnwell, 37: a Black man with braids who is 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. He was being detained for the U.S. Marshals.
- Stokes, 29: a Black man with black hair who is 5-feet-7-inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He was being detained on suspicion of possession of a firearm and drug trafficking.
