Reward Offered For Info Leading To Escaped GA Inmates

Authorities are offering $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of each escaped Bibb County inmate.

MACON, GA — Bibb County authorities are offering a $1,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest for each of the four inmates who escaped around 3 a.m. Monday from the Bibb County Detention Center.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office said the reward is being offered with assistance from Crime Stoppers.

Authorities said the inmates escaped through a damaged day room window and a cut fence. They got into a blue Dodge Challenger that arrived at a location and helped them flee the center, authorities said.

Of the four inmates who escaped, one of them was charged on suspicion of murder, authorities said. The inmates were identified as Joey Fournier, Marc Kerry Anderson, Johnifer Dernard Barnwell and Chavis Demaryo Stokes.
