2 Fugitives Caught in Marietta Home
One of the suspects, Gerald Florence, 34, of Powder Springs, was wanted in connection with a fatal shooting in LaGrange.

Cobb County law authorities caught two fugitives at a Marietta home Tuesday.
Gerald Florence, 34, of Powder Springs, was wanted in a LaGrange home invasion that left a man dead.
Florence is being housed in the Cobb County Detention Center.

The other fugitive, Maenita Thomas, 39, of Acworth, was wanted on a litany of charges, including intent to commit murder and elder abuse, related to allegedly trying to strike someone with a machete in Bartow County.
Florence is charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, according to the Cobb County Sheriff's Office.

He is one of three other suspects LaGrange police identified in connection to the shooting deaths of two people in late November.
LaGrange police shared a Facebook post on November 28 asking for the public's help in finding the suspects.
Marietta residents Jarvis Duncan, 35, and Michael Lee Fair, 37, along with Lewis Antonio Shells, 35, of LaGrange, were arrested on Nov. 28.
