1. The Marietta History Center will be offering holiday crafts for this month's Pop-In. The event will be held on Dec. 17 from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. The event is free due to a generous gift from an anonymous donor. This is a family-friendly event. (Marietta History Center)
2. Marietta's Travis Leonard Hudson, 50 years old, has been sentenced to life in prison. Cobb County Superior Court Judge Mary Staley presided over a jury trial that convicted Hudson of Aggravated Sodomy. He was arrested on Jun. 9, 2021, by the Cobb County Police Department's Crimes Against Persons Unit. (Cobb County Courier)
3. Cobb Chamber's Cobb Young Professionals will be hosting its holiday social on Thursday, Dec. 8. The holiday social's theme will be "Casino Night."
