  1. Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr released an opinion on Tuesday regarding the Cobb Board of Commissioner's disputed redistricting map. According to the attorney general's statement, the map is not legally binding. Still, the office can't file a lawsuit and would need to wait for a withdrawn lawsuit to be refiled from a county resident to become involved. (East Cobb News)
  2. On Tuesday, two students were injured during a cafeteria fight at J.J. Daniell Middle School. One student reportedly stabbed another with a pocket knife, and the attacker was also injured during the altercation. The school's principal released a statement regarding the incident, asking students, staff, and parents to visit their website to see what the school district is doing to keep the middle school safe. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  3. Marietta City Schools reported one student became sick after another student released pepper spray on a school bus on Tuesday. The district reported no significant injuries, and both first responders and families of the students were alerted swiftly. (Yahoo! News)
