MARIETTA, GA — Chick-fil-A is set to open another location in Cobb County this week, the restaurant announced Friday.

Atlanta native Mark Reed first began working as a Chick-fil-A team member at 15 years old, and will now operate the newest location at 1440 Terrell Mill Road Southeast — which is set to open Wednesday and bring roughly 100 jobs to the community, according to a news release. He also operates the Windy Hill location.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives by welcoming guests and creating a positive environment for growth and development to my Team Members,” Reed said. “I’m excited to spread Chick-fil-A’s reach in Marietta and continue to give back to my community with the opening of this new restaurant. ”

The eatery normally has a First 100 Grand Opening celebration for all its new locations, but this time it'll be different. The Terrell Mill location has identified 100 local heroes and will surprise them with free Chick-fil-A for a year.

Additionally, Chick-fil-A will donate $25,000 to Feeding America. The funds will be distributed to partners within the Greater Atlanta area to aid in the fight against hunger.
