Cobb County native Steve "Thunder" Tumlin has served as mayor of Marietta for over a decade. Under his leadership, the city has seen incredible growth through development including new neighborhoods to welcome more residents, new restaurants and parks opened creating an inviting atmosphere for residents and tourists, and much more. This year, Marietta was named one of only two Georgia cities on Money's 50 Best Places to Live List. With the city’s great schools, festivals, and rich history, it is not hard to see why.

In addition to the keynote presentation, the 2022 Marietta Citizen of the Year will be announced.
