- The Cobb International Festival is scheduled for Saturday between noon and 6:00 p.m. The multi-cultural event first debuted in 2019 and took a two-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic. There will be food from various cultures along with cultural activities. Cobb Animal Services will also be on-site with adoption-ready animals. - A boil water advisory has been issued for a portion of Cobb County. Customers of the Cobb County Water System in the Sweat Mountain High-Pressure Area are asked to boil water while the system's pressure is being tested. The boiling should be for at least one minute after achieving a rolling boil to ensure any potential health hazards have been eliminated. Any questions can be answered by contacting 770-419-6200. - We have an update on yesterday's report of a Cobb County apartment complex fire: 20 residents were displaced in the blaze at the Arbors in Smyrna, located in the 1900 block of Old Concord Road. The 20 residents were evacuated by responding crews and thankfully, no one was injured during the fire. The cause remains under investigation. (WSB Atlanta)
