Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:
- Cobb County Courthouse is once again instating a mask mandate. The policy is in response to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's high community transmission level designation. The courthouse is also asking visitors to practice social distancing in all public spaces. (Marietta Patch)
- Cobb County Sheriff Craig Owens has returned after training in Israel for two weeks. Sheriff Owens met with other U.S. law enforcement officials to receive "intensive" public safety training with the Israel Police. The training was part of the Georgia International Law Enforcement Exchange which is currently in its 29th year. (MDJOnline.com)
