Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:
- The Cobb County Police Department is investigating an apparent break-in at a county emergency preparedness store. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning at Cobb Parkway's TruPrep store. It is currently unclear if the break-in suspects made away with any guns. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- The City of Marietta will be hosting its annual Art in the Park from Sept. 3 through Sept. 5. 170 artists' works will be on display in historic Marietta Square. - A rent dispute at a Marietta sober living facility could result in tenants being pushed to the streets. Lockheed Avenue's Threshold of Integrity is in dispute due to necessary repairs and a failure to pay rent. The Marietta Fire Marshal wants the home's sprinkler system repaired else evacuations will need to be made. It is unclear how the issue will be resolved. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
