Man Shot Dead At Marietta Motel Over A Woman: Police
Police in Marietta investigate fatal shooting at Motel 6 on Delk Road.
MARIETTA, GA -- Police in Marietta are investigating a fatal shooting that took place early Sunday at a Motel 6 in the city. Authorities arrived at the motel in the 2300 block of Delk Road about 9:54 a.m., where they encountered a man who said that he'd shot another over a woman he's involved with.
Raheen Stingley told Marietta officers that he had gotten into an altercation with Antrell Hicks-Davis in the parking lot and fired a single shot at his middle section. Hicks-Davis was rushed to Kennestone Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities said that Stingley was very cooperative, but based on the evidence, he was arrested.

Stingley is charged with felony homicide murder, Marietta police said. He was booked into Cobb Adult Detention Center.
