Marietta Apartment Complex Fire Displaces 50 People
Due to a fire Tuesday morning, dozens of units were damaged and 50 people were displaced at a Marietta apartment complex.
MARIETTA, GA — More than a dozen crews from Marietta and Cobb County fire departments responded to an apartment complex fire in Marietta early Tuesday morning, a fire which damaged dozens of units and displaced 50 people, according to WSB-TV.
The fire erupted at the Park on Windy Hill Apartments, located at 2122 Windy Hill Road in Marietta. The fire was under control as of 10 a.m., WSB-TV reported.
No injuries were reported, and the Red Cross is working with the families affected by the fire. Firefighters are investigating the cause, but believe the fire started on the third floor.
