Marietta Man's Body Found In Lake Lanier
Investigators discovered the body of Xi Zhu, 56, in Lake Lanier over the weekend — two months after he went underwater and never came up.

COBB COUNTY, GA — The body of a Marietta man was found in Lake Lanier over the weekend, two months after he went underwater and never came back up, according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources.
Xi Zhu, 56, went underwater in the Shoal Creek area of Lake Lanier on May 29, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. He had gotten out of his inflatable raft to grab an oar.
Investigators returned to the area around 3 a.m. Saturday after someone reported a body floating in the water, which was later identified as Zhu. He was one of three people who drowned in state waters over Memorial Day weekend, The AJC reported.
