- A Marietta native has been named a 2022 NASA flight director. Heidi Brewer graduated from Georgia Tech before joining NASA in 2006. She has supported 19 shuttle missions and was a leader during the STS-135 final flight. She has also trained with SpaceX. (CBS 46 News)
