Marietta’s 6th Annual Art Walk
Held on Marietta Square, the First Friday Art Walk kicks off in April and takes visitors on a self-guided tour of Marietta's art scene.
Held the first Friday of the month, April through October, the First Friday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour to Marietta’s diverse art scene.
Art galleries, museums, cultural venues, restaurants and boutiques on Marietta Square host artists within their stores and are open from 5 to 9 p.m.
There will also be performance artists based throughout the Square. New this year is Tavern in the Garten, a beer and wine garden where you can enjoy beverages, music and sponsor vendors. Tavern in the Garten will run from May through October.

2013 dates are: April 5, May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, September 6 and October 4.
Look for an official Art Walk banner in the window to identify the participating venues. Pick up an Art Walk map, which denotes what locations are featured and what artists will be spotlighted and choose your own route. Maps of the venues are available at each participating merchant, the Marietta Visitors Bureau and online at artwalkmarietta.com.
Stop by Marietta Wine Market, the Marietta Trolley Company, the
Earl Smith Strand Theatre or the Cobb-Marietta Museum of Art to register for the chance to win a “Hip to be Square” $50 gift certificate redeemable at any participating merchant on the Square.
