Marietta Veterans Day Parade Set For This Saturday
Here's everything you need to know about Saturday's Veterans Day parade in Marietta.

MARIETTA, GA -- The 14th annual Marietta Veterans Day Parade takes place on Saturday, November 10, 2018. The parade begins at 11 am at Roswell Street Baptist Church, loops through Marietta Square, and ends between the new Cobb Courthouse and Marietta City Hall. The parade includes marching bands, drill teams, floats, military vehicles and veterans’ organizations. The parade will have both Marietta and Cobb County schools represented by their bands and their JROTC units. Thirty or more parade entries are anticipated along with a display of military vehicles.
The roads in the parade route will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic between 10:30 AM and Noon Saturday morning.

After the parade, spectators are invited to pay tribute to the men and women who have fought to keep Marietta and America free during a ceremony on the Square at noon.
In the 2018 parade, the Grand Marshal and keynote speaker will be Brigadier General Tom Blackstock, Commander, 78th Troop Command of the Georgia Army National Guard.
