All Clear After Marietta Walmart Bomb Threat

The store was evacuated for several hours Wednesday afternoon.

MARIETTA, Ga. — The Walmart at 210 Cobb Parkway was evacuated for several hours on Wednesday after a suspicious package was discovered.

The package was removed and the store was expected to reopen around 3:30 pm.

A witness told Patch the entire front of the building has been blocked off. Several SWAT vehicles and police cars were on the scene during the investigation.
