  1. The Cobb County Courier is reportedly removing onsite comments. The comments were removed due to a lack of civility, a delay due to moderation, and their threatening nature. A lot of newspapers from around the country, both small and large, removed comment sections for the same reasons. Readers are encouraged to comment on articles using social media. 2. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens will be the Cobb Chamber's keynote speaker on Monday. The mayor will be speaking at the Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre about his administration's efforts to improve public safety while empowering neighborhoods. The chamber's Cobb Young Professionals will also be presenting the 2022 Next Generation Award during the meeting. (Cobb County Courier)
  3. The Marietta Police Department has located a teenage murder suspect. Donald Bannister, 17, was accused of shooting Norval Bailey in June 2021. He has been on the run since. Bannister was arrested in East Point last week by a joint task force comprised of U.S. Marshalls, SWAT officers, and GBI agents.
