One Dead, One Injured In Cobb County House Fire
The fire happened early Sunday morning in Austell.
AUSTELL, GA -- One woman was killed and another was injured early Sunday morning in a Cobb County house fire. Firefighters arrived to find the home, located in the 1800 block of Gherry Drive, completely engulfed in flames. One woman was outside the home in the backyard when firefighters arrived.
Another woman was found inside a bedroom. Firefighters pulled her out and she was rushed to WellStar Cobb Hospital, where she later died.
The condition of the other woman has not been released.
