Police Investigate Deadly Double Shooting Outside Marietta Gas Station

Officers found two gunshot victims at the Exxon on Delk Road.

MARIETTA, GA -- Police officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds late Thursday in a car parked outside an Exxon gas station.

Police are investigating the deadly double shooting, which left the passenger dead and the driver fighting for his life, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Police do not know whether the two gunshot victims were shot outside the gas station in the 2300 block of Delk Road or someplace else. Both victims were taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, where the passenger died. The other victim is in critical condition.

"The location/jurisdiction of the shooting has yet to be determined and is still under investigation,” police Officer Brittany Wallace told the AJC.
