Police: Robbers Hit Auto Parts Store In Marietta

Undisclosed amount of cash taken in hold-up at O'Reilly Auto Parts Store, say Cobb police.

MARIETTA, GA – Cobb County police are searching for two men who robbed an auto parts store this week in Marietta.

The crime took place Tuesday night about 9:15 p.m. at the O’Reilly Auto Parts Store in the 3700 block of Austell Road, according to a news release from the Cobb County police.

Two unarmed men confronted two employees. One suspect took a worker to the cash register, while the other took an employee to the safe.

The suspects ran out of the back door after taking an undisclosed amount of cash from the store.

Cobb County police are looking for two men in their early 20s with a “medium build.” Both had on a dark “snapback style” cap, blue jeans and a black jacket.
