  1. A Marietta school is working to help at-risk kids get on the right path in life and improve relationships between the kids and police. Marietta Alternative Programs and Services, part of the Marietta City School District, is a program for kids expelled from public schools. “One thing I say to them all the time is no one’s going to help us but us,” Farhat Ahmad, a coordinator with the program, said.   2. Marietta’s 2nd Chance Toys & Collectibles features both new and vintage toys. Shoppers can find a large selection of popular and retro collectibles on store shelves.
