Search Is On For Cobb County Murder Suspect

Cordale Jefferson is wanted in connection with a Saturday murder in Cobb County.

MARIETTA, GA -- Police are searching for Cordale Jefferson, 27, who is wanted in connection with a Saturday evening murder in Cobb County. Police responded around 6:20 pm on Nov. 17, 2018, to reports of a person shot near the intersection of Austell and Pat Mell roads. They found Jack Myles, 25, lying on the ground, suffering from a gunshot wound. Myles was taken to Kennestone Hospital where he later died.

Police said video surveillance captured Jefferson just prior to the shooting. Jefferson, who has not yet been arrested, is being charged with murder and aggravated assault.

Jefferson is described as a black male, approximately 5'5" in height, with a medium build. He has multiple tattoos including "BADAZZ" on his forehead, two tear-drop tattoos under his left eye, and a money bag tattoo under his right eye.
