  1. Cobb PARKS is offering county women the opportunity to participate in a self-defense class. The classes will be offered on the second Friday of every month. Participants will learn to perform easy-to-learn and easy-to-remember self-defense moves. Click to register today. (Cobb County Courier)
  2. The Marietta City Council is considering a new law that would require adult businesses to acquire a special license to operate. The law is in direct response to the ongoing lawsuits by Toyko Valentino. The proposal would also restrict the hours that an adult store can operate. (MDJOnline.com)
  3. The Cobb County Board of Commissioners has approved a settlement toward an Uber driver. The settlement awards $250,000 to Sharon DeArmond and her attorney. The settlement is in regards to an unlawful detention incident that occurred on Windy Hill Road in 2017. (East Cobb News)
