Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:
- A shortened runoff period is negatively impacting voters in Marietta. The state's runoff period is now four weeks — significantly shorter than the previous nine-week period. This shortened period is giving voters less time to vote early in person and a tighter window to return mail ballots. The shortened runoff period is one of the state's voting laws enacted in 2021 — along with a ban on people giving water to those standing in lines and limitations on ballot drop boxes. (News4Jax)

The event will be on Jun. 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to participate in crafts and activities while viewing the exhibits.
