- Gov. Brian Kemp declared a State of Emergency in Georgia. With the coldest weather in years approaching Cobb County, prepare and learn what you should do to be ready for three days of below-freezing, dangerous wind-chill weather. - Warming shelters opened across the Atlanta metro for the impending cold. In Marietta, MUST Ministries' Hope House will be open until Dec. 26 starting at 8:00 p.m. MUST will provide services for women, children, and men.
