Suspected Bank Robber Dead From Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
Police were attempting to serve a search warrant when they found the suspect with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

MARIETTA, GA -- A suspected bank robber has died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police were attempting to serve a search warrant at a Wayward Drive residence in Marietta when they found the man. He was taken to Kennestone Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police believe the man robbed a Cobb County bank last month. Police said he entered a SunTrust Bank on Sandy Plains Road on Oct 31, 2018, around 3:30 pm and handed a bank teller a note stating he had a gun and wanted cash. The suspect's image was captured on video.
The suspect fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash before officers arrived on scene.
