- The Marietta Cobb Museum of Art is offering a Teen Multi-Media Studio course between Aug. 15 and Sep. 19. The course will be offered on Mondays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Participants will learn about a wide variety of artistic mediums including clay, drawing, acrylic, block printing, and panting. - The Cobb International Festival will return on Saturday, Aug. 27. This festival is meant to celebrate the wide variety of music, dancing, cuisine, and crafts from around the world. The festival will be held between noon and 6:00 p.m. Admission and parking for the event are free. (Cobb County)
- The Beginning Design Class series begins today. The class is offered through the Marietta Cobb Museum of Art.
