Storytime & Book Signing: Patty's Secret

• What: Children's book author Leneille Moon will be signing her first children book entitled Patty's Secret: A Tale about a Girl with Food Allergies at Lizards and Lollipops. 

2nd Annual ART, BARKS & PURRS

• When: Saturday, June 22, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Where: Cobb County Animal Control Shelter Front Lawn: 1060 Al Bishop Dr., Marietta 30060
• What: Bring a cat or dog food donation to help the community. The event features animal-related crafts made by local arts and crafts vendors.

Georgia Dachshund Races

• When: Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 10 a.m.
• Where: Jim Miller Park: 2245 Callaway Road SW, Marietta 30008
• What: This weekend come out for races for adult doxies, mixed doxies, non doxies, senior doxies, puppy doxies and wheelies; doggie weddings; and a dog talent contest on Saturday. On Sunday, there will be doggie weddings and a dog talent contest. 

Children's Event: Bug Squad Party

• What: Dress like your favorite bug and join the library for stories, games and crafts.

Big Shanty Antiques and Gifts Art Walk

• What: Big Shanty Antiques and Gifts is having their first Art Walk, featuring work from local artists.
