Burglaries and Thefts Continue to Plague Walton County Authorities

Zone 1

• Theft Report – A 4-wheeler and equipment were taken from an open shed at a residence on Hwy 81.

Zone 2

• Burglary Report – A burglary was reported at a residence on Lynch Rd. Several items were missing from the residence.

Zone 3

• Prowler – A subject was reportedly knocking on a house located on Hickory Nut Way. When Walton County deputies arrived, no one was found.

Zone 4

• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Perry Smith Rd. at Ponderosa Trail. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.

Zone 5

• Theft – A theft occurred on Brookshade Court in Waterford subdivision. Two leaf blowers and a gas can were taken from the bed of a truck parked at the residence.
• Theft – A blue Yamaha 4-wheeler was taken from the bed of a pick-up truck on Shiloh Oak Drive in Shiloh Oak subdivision.
• Theft – A push mower and several tools were taken from a property on Forest Drive.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Shiloh Oak Drive at Shiloh Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Trespassing – Subjects were issued Criminal Trespass warnings for mud bogging in an undeveloped subdivision off Etchison Rd.
• Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Highland Point Place in Providence Club subdivision. All windows and doors appeared secure.

Zone 6

• Burglary Report – A vacant residence on Country Lane was forcibly entered. No items were reported missing. Extra patrol was requested.
• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 20 at Ivory Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Theft – Car keys were stolen from a residence on Gum Creek Court. A suspect was named in the theft.
• Burglary Report – A burglary report was made at a mobile home in Youth Mobile Home Park. Tools were taken from an outbuilding located at the residence. 

Zone 7

• Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Kent Rock Rd. at Emmett Still Rd. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
• Arrest – Three DUI arrests were made in this zone area.
