A Walton County teenager is accused of making two bombs that were reportedly located in his bedroom at his home on Snows Mill Road, the Walton Tribune reports.

According to the article, the boy's mother notified authorities Monday morning after finding the explosives.

A look at the Walton County Sheriff's Office incident report reveals more about the situation.

According to the report, the mother was cleaning her son's room when she found "a knife sewn into one of his camouflage jackets, and an empty box of shot gun ammunition, and what appeared to be a homemade fused bomb which was hidden in her son's room."

The deputy described the device, noting "it appeared to be made out of a white plastic tube with pink duct tape wrapped around it and a small fuse coming from one end."

The family was told to clear the residence and the investigation was turned over to the GBI.

The mother then told deputies her son has been experiencing "emotional problems" and has been cutting up furniture with knives and throwing them at the wall.   The teen had been scheduled to be in juvenile court on Tuesday in reference to a case of criminal damage to property, she added.

Fox5 Atlanta reports the 13-year-old Carver Middle School student is being held in a juvenile detention facility.
