Morgan County Authorities Capture Fugitive
The burglary suspect had been on the run for more than 24 hours as several agencies conducted a multi-county manhunt for him.

According to a Nixle Alert from Oconee County Sheriff's Office, fugitive Kaleb Jordan Moss, 18, of Bethlehem, was captured Tuesday evening by Morgan County Sheriff's Office.
In a Nixle alert sent just before 10 p.m., the Morgan County Sheriff's Office thanked citizens for their patience and said they should resume normal activity.
"A special thanks to all those who contributed to the two day exhaustive search especially the Oconee County Sheriff's Office, the Gwinnett County Sheriff's Office, the Georgia State Patrol, the Newton County Sheriff's Office, the Barrow County Sheriff's Office, the Jefferson Police Department, the Morgan County Fire Department, the Morgan County Code Enforcement Department and all MCSO personnel."
Moss is being held in the Morgan County Detention Center without bond.

Moss has been on the run since crashing a truck in Oconee County near the Morgan County line Monday, July 29, around 4 p.m. He had been on the run from Barrow County authorities following an alleged burglary. Multiple agencies were involved in the search for Moss, including the Walton County Sheriff's Office. Moss is wanted on charges of robbery, burglary and aggravated assault.
Barrow Count Sheriff's Office began the search, which continued into Oconee and Morgan counties before Moss was finally captured on Tuesday evening by MCSO. The manhunt included a ground search assisted by K9s, an air search by the Georgia State Patrol helicopter, and the cooperation of several agencies, including Barrow, Oconee, Morgan and Walton County authorities.
