Walton County Crime Report: Intoxicated Person Falls From Jeep, Hunter Trespasses, and Prowler Opens Door

The Walton County Sheriff's Office responded to the following incident reports Oct. 4-6, 2013.

This report is compiled from the Walton County Sheriff's Office Crime alerts for Oct. 4-6, 2013.

Zone 3

  • Trespassing – A young white male was confronted on Pleasant Valley Rd. near Laboon Rd. in reference to him bow hunting after dark on a property without permission. The subject fled on foot after a verbal exchange.
  • Theft – A theft was reported on Blasingame Rd. money was taken from the complainant’s wallet.
  • Harassing Calls – A report was made on Lavista Drive in reference to telemarketers requesting donations for injured police officers. The subjects requested credit card information. The complainant was advised to check charities for legitimacy before donating money.
 
Zone 5
  • Alarm – Walton County deputies responded to an alarm on Jennifer Springs Drive in Jennifer Springs subdivision. The alarm company cancelled the call.
  • Dispute – Subjects on Bullock Lane were involved in a verbal dispute. The male subject was arrested in reference to an outstanding warrant.
  • Accident – A subject reportedly fell out of a Jeep on Double Springs Rd. The subject was checked out by the med unit and was released. The subject was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
  • Prowler – A resident on Watson Mill Court reported that someone opened the door to her residence. No contact was made with the subject who opened the door.
  • Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Hwy 81 at Forest Falls Drive. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. Several arrests were made in reference to drugs and DUI’s.
 
Zone 7
  • Extra Patrol – Extra patrol was requested on Emmett Still Rd. in reference to vehicles speeding in the area.
