Burglar Robs At Least 5 Restaurants By Shattering Glass: Police

Gwinnett Police need the public's help in identifying a man who broke into five different restaurants in the Norcross area.

NORCROSS, GA — Gwinnett Police burglary detectives need of the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into five different restaurants in the Norcross area.

On Jan. 24 at 3:09 a.m., a man smashed the glass on the front door of The Federal Coffee located at 6365 Spalding Drive in Peachtree Corners. Once inside, he stole approximately $1,000 in cash from the manager’s office, police reported. The man then went to the Taaj Market Kabab Grill, located at 6385 Spalding Drive, broke in and stole $100, according to police.

On Jan. 29, 2019, the man burglarized the restaurants Ten Bistro and Osteria di Mare, located at 5005 Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree Corners, police reported. The man again gains entry by shattering the glass of the front door, police said. He is seen entering Ten Bistro at 4:15 a.m. and then shattering the front glass to Osteria di Mare at 4:23 a.m. He leaves at 4:25 a.m., police said.

Approximately 40 minutes later, at 5:05 a.m., the same man is seen breaking into the Tavern at Medlock located at 3230 Medlock Bridge Road in unincorporated Norcross, according to police. He again shatters the glass to gain entry. Once inside, he steals approximately $1,000 in cash, police reported.

Suspect Information:

A male wearing a gray hoodie, jogging pants, and his face covered. He appears to be wearing 2015 Nike Air Max Shoes, one black glove and one white glove, and carrying a flashlight. The suspect is approximately 5’06” tall and approximately 140 pounds.
