2 Dead, 1 Stabbed In Gwinnett County
Police say a man fatally shot two people, tried to shoot a third person and stabbed a fourth person in a Gwinnett County spree.

NORCROSS, GA — Police have released more details regarding the shooting deaths of two people in a car, the attempted shooting of a third person and the stabbing of a fourth person last week in Gwinnett County.
Two people, Jesua Valesca Garcia Perez, 17, and Javier Hernandez Martinez, 28, both of Norcross, were found dead in a car Friday near Harbins Road and Harbins Point Lane in Lilburn, Gwinnett County Police said Monday.
Police accused Javier Aragon Ruiz, 54, of engaging in an argument with the pair before pulling out a gun and shooting them in the car.

He then walked to the 3200 block of Windscape Village Lane in Norcross, police said, adding he tried to shoot a third person but the gun did not fire.

Police said Ruiz then attacked a fourth person with a knife, causing a potentially life-threatening injury to the man's neck, before fleeing the scene.
Ruiz was tracked to Tennessee, where state troopers took him into custody, police said. He was being held at the Robertson County Sheriff’s Office in Springfield, Tennessee.
He was known to the four victims, police said. A motive remains under investigation.
