GAC Students Make Difference One Sandwich at a Time

One student said, "Everyone can help end hunger no matter how old they are."

From Greater Atlanta Christian School

Greater Atlanta Christian Senior High students partnered with 7 Bridges Ministry to prepare more than 1,000 lunches during chapel.

Organized by chapel class students, the service project gave Senior High an opportunity to serve others during school hours. Together, small groups brought sandwich-making supplies from home and prepared meals that will be distributed by 7 Bridges to Atlanta homeless.

Chapel student leader Molly Joseph, who helped organize the event, reminded us that “everyone can help end hunger no matter how old they are.”

Service is an important part of school life at GAC. As students grow in age and maturity, it is incredible to see them self-start initiatives and lead one another in large scale service projects. GAC is committed to raising up leaders with servant hearts and we are proud of the example the Senior High students have set for the rest of our school.
