Man Charged With Murder After Woman Found Dead In Norcross Home

A 34-year-old man is facing malice murder and felony murder charges after a woman was found dead in her Norcross home.

NORCROSS, GA — Gwinnett County Police say they are charging a 34-year-old man with murder in connection with the death of a 32-year-old woman Friday in the 1600 block of Graves Road.

Police on Monday announced Fabricio Cerchiaro Pinto is facing charges of malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault.

The charges are in connection with an incident that occurred around 12:15 p.m. Friday at a Graves home, where police said they found Marisol Ballestas Brochero dead inside her home. The cause and manner of death were not revealed.

Afterwards, police said Cerchiaro Pinto was involved in a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Graves and Dawson Boulevard. He was injured and remained hospitalized Monday, police said.
