Man Facing Child Porn Charges Arrested In Norcross
A man who Hampton (Virginia) Police says used social media to entice a minor into sending inappropriate videos was arrested in Norcross.
NORCROSS, GA β A 24-year-old man accused of enticing a minor into sending explicit videos was arrested in Norcross, authorities said Thursday.
The Gwinnett County Sheriffβs Office said Jaylin C. Chaney was arrested on March 13. Local authorities said they were tipped off by the Hampton Police Department about Virginia warrants against Chaney.
Hampton Police accused Chaney, who they say is from Georgia, of using social media to entice the minor into sending inappropriate videos. Police said they first received a complaint around 11:30 a.m., Feb. 22.

It was not immediately known if the child lives in Virginia.
Chaney was arrested on charges of 16 counts of possession of child pornography, 24 counts of solicitation of child pornography and 24 counts of use of a computer to commit a sex offense with a minor, authorities said. Chaney is being held at the Gwinnett County Jail without bond, authorities said.

"The Gwinnett County Sheriffβs Office is dedicated to protecting our community and will continue to work tirelessly to apprehend individuals who seek to exploit children. We appreciate the collaborative efforts of the Hampton (Virginia) Police Department. This investigation remains ongoing," authorities said in a news release.
