Man Fatally Shot At Norcross Gas Station; Suspect At Large

NORCROSS, GA — Police are searching for a man they say shot and killed another man in a gas station parking lot Friday in the 4100 block of Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

Gwinnett County Police said responding officers found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the parking lot. He later died at a local hospital, police said. The man was not identified, pending next-of-kin notification.

The suspect is an unidentified man police said had approached the victim but then ran after the shooting occurred.

Officers set up a perimeter in the area but did not find a suspect, police said.

A motive for the shooting is unknown.
