Norcross Blaze Displaces 43

NORCROSS, GA — A Sparrows Lane apartment fire early Wednesday morning caused at 33 adults and 10 children to be displaced, Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services said.
Fire crews responded around 3:30 a.m. to the 120 block of Sparrows, where a tenant had reported seeing flames. Residents were advised to evacuate the apartment building, fire officials said.

While firefighters were combatting the flames using multiple ways, search teams checked for potential victims. Fire officials said everyone had safely escaped the building. The fire was controlled by around 4:30 a.m.

No one was injured, but 33 adults and 10 children were displaced due to the fire. They are being assisted by the American Red Cross, fire officials said.
