Norcross Resident And Former Atlanta Ad Man Writes Circus Fiction

Early in his career a Norcross novelist worked as an advance man for the big top, so he knows the subject of his book well.

NORCROSS, GA - Norcross resident and former Atlanta advertising executive Patrick Scullin has turned his writing talents to fiction with his debut novel, "Sawdust – Love is Wilder than a Circus."

The plot follows Scullin's personal experience with the circus. Early in his career, he worked as an advance man for the big top, so he knows his subject.

"His father recently died, he gets fired from his job, and his girlfriend dumps him. Desperate for money, the 23-year-old copywriter becomes a promoter with a traveling circus - and in his first town, falls in love.”

The book has "unforgettable characters and humor, plus reveals insights into circus life, the male psyche, and explorations of faith and self-discovery," he says.

The first-time author's book is now available on Amazon, ordered from bookstores and soon on Audible.

In his former life, Scullin created some famous ad campaigns, started a successful advertising agency, according to his press release. He sold it to write words that entertain.

He is married, has two sons and lives in Norcross.
