Murder Suspect Arrested In Fatal Stabbing Of Norcross Woman

Police on Monday identified the woman killed in the Norcross stabbing and said the man accused in her death is facing murder charges.

NORCROSS, GA β€” The 26-year-old Duluth man accused of stabbing to death a Norcross woman has been arrested, Gwinnett County Police said Monday.

Police said Kurt Sebastian Omana Torres was arrested without incident in connection with the death of Ana Karen Ramos Hernandez, 24.

Hernandez was found fatally stabbed around 6 p.m. Friday in the 1200 block of Hunters Club after a domestic-related incident, police said. Police did not specify the events that led to Hernandez's death.

Torres was charged on suspicion of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, police said. He will be taken to the Gwinnett County Jail, police said.
