Police Seek Man Wanted for Walmart Armed Robbery

He allegedly robbed a cashier emptying a cash register and made off with more than $5,000.

Gwinnett Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect wanted for a Sept. 26 robbery at a Walmart on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in unincorporated Norcross.

Police said as a self checkout cashier was emptying a register inside the Walmart at 4975 Jimmy Carter Blvd, an armed gunman allegedly walked up, racked the slide of a handgun and stole more than $5,000.

Officers were called to the store around 11 p.m. on Sept. 26.

The man fled the store and got into a dark-colored four-door sedan, police said.

Surveillance camera images of the suspect were released by police Tuesday morning.

  • Black male 5’ 6” to 5’ 8” 165lbs to 180lbs
  • Navy blue jacket
  • Khaki shorts
  • Black shoes
  • Black Chicago Bulls hat
  • Red bag
  • Dark colored 4dr sedan
