Suspected Burglar And Her Accomplice Sought In Gwinnett Storage Site Thefts

Police said Katie Nicole Johnson aka Katie Pethel is wanted in several recent thefts at a storage facility on Buford Dam Road. Among the items stolen are a computer, DVR system, two motorcycles and several tools, police said.
On Feb 21., an employee ran into a man and a woman on the grounds of the storage property. The couple fled, but the worker found that they had left behind a maroon Hyundai and a yellow bike. An investigator responded to the scene and after getting a search warrant, was able to identify Katie Johnson as a suspect based on evidence in the vehicle.

Police are also searching for man who was with her, who also is caught on security camera.
The man is described as in his late 20s to early 30s, 5'8 to 5'10 in height, about 140-160 pounds with short hair and facial hair.

Johnson, 35, is wanted for criminal trespass, burglary, entering an auto and several other charges, including drugs, police said.
If anyone knows Johnson's whereabouts or the man's identification, they are asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477). Anonymous tipsters can earn an award up to $2,000.
