Tractor-Trailer Stolen From Gwinnett Supply Store, Cops Say

A suspect is at large after being accused of taking a Freightliner truck from a Norcross electrical supply store.

NORCROSS, GA β€” Police say they are searching for the person accused of taking a tractor-trailer from a Peachtree Industrial Boulevard electrical supply store, and later, abandoning the truck last week.

Gwinnett County Police on Monday say they are working to identify the suspect who entered the cab of a Freightliner truck while it was in the parking lot of the store on Nov. 24.

Video footage captured the suspect getting inside the cab and attempting to start the truck, police said. After the truck eventually starts, police said the suspect drives it off of the lot.

A patrol officer later found the abandoned truck with the engine running near the supply store, police said.

There were no further details about the suspect, though police said they are trying to identify the person.
