Client Testimony:

After surgery for hip dysplasia, 5-year-old Isabella needed a specialized pediatric walker to help her walk. When her parents learned that it would take several months for insurance to approve the medical item, they realized they couldn’t bear to delay their daughter’s recovery. Isabella’s father called FODAC from the hospital to seek help. He was relieved to talk to Bryan, FODAC’s Occupational Therapist. He said, “Bryan is very proactive, and he understands the pain parents go through trying to navigate the healthcare system. He called us back in a few hours and told us he had a walker for us. He gave us hope that day.”

About the Run, Walk ‘n’ Roll:

The Run, Walk ‘n’ Roll event is designed to be inclusive, fun, and family-friendly, inviting everyone—regardless of ability—to participate. Attendees can enjoy scenic trails at Stone Mountain Park or create their own virtual course at home. This unique event raises critical funds for FODAC’s life-changing work, helping to bridge the gap for individuals and families who need essential medical equipment but cannot afford it. Together, let’s take a run, walk, or roll toward a more inclusive, accessible future for everyone!
