Police Seek Public's Help In Finding Attempted Armed Robbery Suspect

The man is accused of assaulting and trying to rob an older man, police said Monday evening.

SCOTTDALE, GA — DeKalb County Police asked Monday evening for the public's help in locating a man accused in an attempted armed robbery.

Police said the incident took place around 6 a.m., Nov. 25, at a gas station in the 3300 block of East Ponce De Leon Avenue.

The man is accused of assaulting and attempting to rob an older man at the gas station, police said.

Police identified the suspect as a Black man with a slim build.

Authorities ask anyone with information in the case to call detectives at (770) 724-7780.
