Bush Road Project Progressing - Slowly
The new Peachtree Reserve has had a few weather-related setbacks over the past few months.
It was last December when the developers of Peachtree Reserve, a 16-home gated community located on Bush Road broke ground.
And seven months later, there's still mounds of dirt where eventually Craftsman-styled homes priced in the $600,000s and up are planned to be built.Â
Weather and other unforeseen delays have taken its toll on the tony subdivision that will feature 4,000 - 4,800 square foot homes, said Matt Rhule, the Re/Max Alliance agent who will be marketing the homes.
"We're just a few weeks away from getting permits to build three model homes," said Rhule. Â The original plans were to have the land cleared and a model home up by November 2012.Â
Rhule said the delays could work out in favor for the new subdivision. "The new home prices in the Tillman subdivision (which Rhule said is comparable to Peachtree Reserve) have been going up," he said, "so the homes in Peachtree Reserve will likely rise to the $600,000s to $700,000s."
